Last updated: October 9, 2026
At Playblasting, we believe useful software should respect your privacy. Our goal is to collect as little personal information as reasonably necessary to provide our products and services.
Playblasting is a software brand operated by Jalin Film AB, Sweden.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, use our software, purchase a license or contact us.
1. Who We Are
Jalin Film AB operates Playblasting and is responsible for personal data processed for its own purposes.

2. Information We Process
Depending on how you interact with our services, we may process:
- Contact information you voluntarily provide when requesting support.
- Purchase and transaction information necessary to administer software licenses.
- License activation information when using paid software.
- Technical information necessary for website functionality, security and troubleshooting.
Our products may process additional information locally on your device. Product-specific details are provided below or in the relevant product documentation.
3. TabDumpr Browser Extension
TabDumpr is a browser extension for saving, organizing and restoring open browser tabs.
To provide these features, TabDumpr accesses information about your open browser tabs and windows, including:
- Page titles.
- Website URLs.
- Browser window and tab organization.
- Session names and user-selected settings.
Local storage: TabDumpr stores saved sessions and related preferences locally using Chrome’s extension storage.
The current local session-saving functionality does not require an account or transmit saved tab lists to Playblasting servers.
We do not use your saved tab information for advertising, profiling or selling data to third parties.
If you choose to export a session, the exported file is handled according to your browser’s download settings. You are responsible for deciding where to store or share exported files.
Pro licensing: Paid features may require license verification. When activated, licensing functionality may process a license key, product identifier, activation identifier and limited technical information necessary to validate the license and enforce applicable device limits.
License verification does not require uploading your saved tab lists or browsing sessions.
4. Other Playblasting Products
Playblasting may offer additional browser extensions, web applications and downloadable software.
Different products may require different information to perform their functions. We will explain any significant differences in the relevant product’s privacy information before introducing new processing activities.
We do not assume that all products require the same permissions or access to the same information.
5. Purchases and Payments
Purchases made through Playblasting may be processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record and payment provider.
Paddle processes payment information and related transaction data under its own applicable privacy terms.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We may receive information necessary to confirm purchases, provide licenses, manage customer support and fulfill legal obligations. This may include transaction references, purchased products, payment status and relevant customer contact details.
For further information about Paddle’s handling of personal data, see Paddle’s Privacy Policy.
6. Website Data and Cookies
Our website may process technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps and browser information through our hosting infrastructure for website delivery, security and troubleshooting.
We may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website functionality.
If we introduce optional analytics, advertising cookies or other non-essential tracking technologies, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by applicable law.

For browser data stored entirely on your device, Playblasting does not necessarily receive or separately process that information on its servers.

We may share limited information with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our services, including:
- Payment providers, including Paddle.
- Website hosting and technical infrastructure providers.

Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve inquiries and manage related obligations.
Purchase and accounting records are retained for the periods required by applicable law.
License records may be retained while a license remains active and for an appropriate period afterward where necessary for security, disputes or legal obligations.
